Properties
Welding rod and welding wire are drawn fron wire rod .Welding wire rod is used mainly in civil application and for small part , and welding wire is mainly used in oil pipe laying container ,shipbuilding and bridge etc.
To guarantee the chemical properties of the welding line and also the condductivity and arc stability of the welding rod the chemical content and the inclusions in the wire rod are strictly controlled in that the pinholes and subsurfacebleds in the billet are considerable decreased .Therfore good drawing property and surface quality is guaranteed .
In view of the high Si and Mn content and as well as the high hardness of ER70S-6 ,the high hardness of ER70S-6 , the drawing and welding properties in the furture processing of the wire rod are guarantrrd through the rational control of the chemical contents and the optimization the rolling process , make it suitable for the low carbon steel and 500Mpa high strength steel , and for wide current rang welding and comprehensive steel strcuture welding .
Application
H08Ais mainly used for the manufacture of various welding rod ; while ER70s-6is mainly used for the manufacture of various CO2 gas shielded welding wire ,argon arc welding wire and submerged welding wire of Dia 0.8-1.6mm. |
